How to connect ArtisanClo to your Binom

ArtisanClo plugs into your Binom landing as a gate: the check runs as its first line and decides before the page is shown. Campaigns and offer links stay in Binom — only who sees the landing changes.

How a visit flows

The gate asks ArtisanClo before answering the visitor, before the landing starts rendering.

A visit from an ad link

A person or a reviewer clicks the ad.

Binom landing with the gate

The landing's first line loads the ArtisanClo gate file.

ArtisanClo

ArtisanClo decides

The gate asks ArtisanClo: person or bot.

Landing and offer

A person sees your landing with its usual Binom offer link.

White Page

Bots, reviewers and spy services get the White Page and never see the landing.

How to connect

The gate is a PHP file next to your landing. The offer stays behind the Binom link in the landing; the White Page is set in the ArtisanClo flow.

  1. 01

    Download the gate file

In the ArtisanClo flow's connection window, pick the Binom gate and download this flow's file.

  2. 02

Put it next to the landing

The file goes on your server, next to your Binom landing file.

  3. 03

    Make it the first line

Before any output of the landing: <?php require __DIR__ . '/ac_binom_NNN.php'; ?>

  4. 04

    Check the connection

A person reaches the landing, a bot gets the White Page.

What ArtisanClo adds to your tracker

Binom keeps running your campaigns and offer links. ArtisanClo answers one question — who opened the landing — and explains the answer.

  • A trust score for every visit

Network, device and browser signals add up to a trust score; VPNs, proxies, data centers and robot browsers are caught along the way. On the Binom gate the score rests on the network and the request.

  • Shared memory of bots

When an ad-review service, a platform robot or a program posing as a browser is identified with certainty in any account, its next visit to your flow gets the White Page at once. Real people with a doubtful network, a VPN or no JavaScript never go into this memory.

  • Shield and auto-shield

While a review is running, only visits with the platform's click ID — fbclid, gclid, ttclid and more — reach the offer. Auto-shield raises the shield on its own when review traces spike above the usual level.

  • A reason for every decision

Each click in the log carries one of 83 reasons, and its breakdown shows at which step the visit was stopped — you see which check fired, not just that one did.

Start in shadow mode

See whom the gate would cut on your traffic before it cuts anyone.

  1. 01

    Start the free trial

The Binom gate is available on it.

  2. 02

    Create a flow in ArtisanClo

Pick the traffic source and the White Page, and in the connection window choose the Binom gate.

  3. 03

Add the gate in shadow mode

Turn shadow mode on for 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours: everyone reaches the landing, and the log shows whom the gate would have cut. It switches off on its own when the time is up.

  4. 04

    Switch filtering on

When the decisions look right, bots start getting the White Page instead of the landing.

If you'd rather not run a tracker server

ArtisanClo has a tracker built in. In “Cloaking + Tracker” mode the flow itself counts clicks, spend, conversions, profit and ROI and takes postbacks from affiliate networks — with no server of your own.

Frequently asked questions

01

How does ArtisanClo work with Binom?

The gate file is the first line of your landing and asks ArtisanClo before the page renders. A person sees the landing, everyone else gets the White Page. Binom has no folder for custom filters, so the method is a file in the landing; in Keitaro, ArtisanClo plugs in as a stream filter.

02

Do I need to install ArtisanClo on my own server?

No. ArtisanClo runs in the cloud; only the gate file sits next to your landing. You don't touch domains or DNS.

03

What happens if ArtisanClo doesn't answer?

If the service does not answer within 3 seconds, the visitor goes to the White Page baked into the file at download. If you change the White Page, download the file again.

04

Will my Binom setup stay as it is?

Yes. Campaigns, offers and the offer link in the landing stay in Binom; the gate only decides who gets to see the landing.

05

Where can I see why a visit was turned away?

In the ArtisanClo click log: every visit has its reason, and the click breakdown shows the step where it was stopped. The decision is made from the network and the request — this method has no check page.

06

Can I test the gate without losing traffic?

Yes. Shadow mode works on the Binom gate: for 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours everyone reaches the landing, and the log marks whom the gate would have cut. It switches off on its own when the time is up.

07

Which plan includes the integration?

It works from the free trial and on paid plans. Paid plans are paid in cryptocurrency, and clicks are not billed.

08

Can I move to the built-in tracker later?

Yes. Switch the flow to “Cloaking + Tracker”, and ArtisanClo counts clicks, spend, conversions and ROI itself. While you keep Binom, select it as the flow's external tracker, and CR and revenue show up in the cloaking statistics.
